This was a herd to get item for a place in Costa Rica and it worked perfect. Yeah web and great supplier.

Great Customer Service from Litex Oct 09, 2009
I've owned a number of these on two ceiling fans. I've had two remotes destroyed, one by the dog and another ended up in the washer. First one I just ordered another complete unit from Amazon. The second one I called Litex 800# direct to see if there was a cheaper way to just replace the hand held remote and they sent me the replacement no-charge. These units have worked great. Only problem is when the dog and washer killed the handle held remotes (user error).

I purchased this remote and installed it less than 2 years ago. It is on a fan in a room that I use VERY seldom (maybe 25 times in 2 years). Tried to turn it on yesterday and nothing. Changed the battery (long shot) and still nothing. I'm going back to the pull chains.

Have 2, after 4 yrs one went bad Nov 03, 2008
I have 2 of these fan remotes that came with fans from Menards in 2004. One remote finally went bad in 2008 after minimal use in 4 yrs. The fan only cost $30 to start with, so to replace the remote only for >$26 seems ridiculous. But what do you expect for a $30 ceiling fan that comes with a remote? I guess I've gotten my $ worth. It is a shame that I cannot dim the light anymore though. That was a nice feature in the baby's nursery!

I've owned 2 of these and both went bad, one even came defective from the factory. I WOULD NOT BUY PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY.
