 Great fan but not a very long life for a commercial fan Mar 08, 2009
I have purchased two of these fans in the last three years. They are a wonderful product in that they provide incredible power. However, for an item labeled "commercial grade" they do not last very long. I use it daily and both just died suddenly before they were 18 months old.
I plan on replacing mine with another brand/model. It is unfortunate they do not last longer.

Allergy Be Gone sent one note a couple of weeks late saying they were having trouble getting this in. A couple of weeks later I received a note from Amazon that the order had been cancelled. So, although I'd love to review this fan, I was disappointed by the vendor. Current product listing on Amazon shows "one left in stock". Frustrating...

I had this fan before and that's why I bought it again. I throws so much air on low that I had to purchase a light dimmer to slow it down a bit. When you turn it on it's like a hurricane. I love it, but I leave it on 24/7 so it really does take a beating and tends to eventually die from overuse. But it is so good, all metal, strong motor, relatively quiet that when this one dies out I will get another and send this one back to Honeywell because it is guaranteed for FIVE years. When I get my new one the box will be used to send the old one back, I want my money's worth. If you need a fan that really packs a punch then this is the one for you.

4 1/2 stars werent available(that's only for the noise) But,it's the best cool breeze i've seen from a fan since I was a kid,when my grandparents had those all metal, heavy fans out on the backporch down south. Better than this would be an air conditioner.I got it two days after I ordered it without paying for shipping.(qualified free shipping) Did I mention that it was noisy!?!

ORDERED (2) OF THESE 2 MONTHS AGO FOR LIVING ROOM AND BEDROOM. WORKS GREAT!! VERY POWERFULL IN HIGH MODE. ALL METAL CONSTRUCTION.VERY HAPPY.
